The Revista accepts for publication, subject to the approval of the Editorial Advisory Board, unpublished manuscripts in English or in Spanish on Latin American, particularly on Puerto Rico and the rest of the Caribbean area. Articles in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences are reviewed for publication as long as they are understandable to an educated reader who is not a specialist in the discipline. Also considered for publication are short stories, essays, book reviews and poetry.

Authors can use footnote or endnotes. Style for citations, footnotes/endnotes and bibliographies/references should follow The Chicago Manual of Style or The MLA Style Manual.
